Hello everyone, welcome back! I hope you all are doing well and for my Americans on here, I hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend. It was a mixture of work, relaxation and family day out for me. For daily outfit inspiration, follow me on Instagram. On Today’s Blog Post, I will be sharing a Fall Transition Look and how you can style your Summer Pieces for Fall.
Usually with Fall coming right ahead of us, you find the urge to shop for new pieces, to compliment your already existing closet. However, you can play around with your summer wardrobe pieces to create a Fall look. All you have to do is find a layering technique that works for you and you are good to go.
A simple A-line skirt can be styled as a Fall transition look and that is what I incorporated into this look. This is a basic skirt from Forever21 which I decided to style, using this Ribbed Lace Trimmed Sweater , also from Forever21.
I adore this sweater because it is a simple yet flattering one that can be dressed up or dressed down. When the air is becoming a little bit cooler, it is something that you can throw on to shade the cold air from your skin. It totally compliment the skirt. Linked Similar Skirt Here
Ultimately when the cold air is becoming intense but not yet winter cold, you throw on a Trench Coat for more support. This Banana Republic Classic Trench Coat is George’s and I love incorporating it into my looks, to have that oversized boyfriend jacket look. It is also a classic trench coat with a perfect neutral color. I was going for that city girl chic kind of look and I think it worked!
Accessorizing was one of my favorite parts for this outfit. I didn’t want to use the typical ankle boots which seems Fall appropriate, but went for this Franco Sarto Roller Block Heel Two Tone Pump. They are comfortable, stylish and will keep your toes covered and warm from the cold air. They add that city girl look to the entire outfit and the colors were a great match for the Trench Coat and the Bag. Linking something similar HERE.
This Teardrop Flower Earrings from Zara, were a great pick to compliment the pastel green look on the skirt and I think it is a great Fall Transition Shade for someone who loves colorful outfits.
