This year, I decided to keep things simple with more festive experiences as gifts than “things”. However, I do not think that plan can work, when you have two boys who are actively looking forward to opening presents. They look forward to something wrapped under the Christmas tree, and this mama was no ready for it.
I caved in, and asked my husband to join me as we shop and hope to secretly wrap some meaningful items for the boys. We will also be visiting the Coca-Cola Christmas Lights at Remington Park, with snow slides and ice skating. Well, I would not be ice skating because, your girl would not be embarrassed.
I am also looking forward to some classical music concerts, date nights, friends night and home-bodying with my family.
Most importantly, I am looking forward to the holiday glam! The dresses and makeup, the jewelry, accessories, the hosting, the food etc. This is what gets me!!
It’s been a busy but fulfilling year, and I am excited to wind it up with my family and few friends.
