I got hooked on Serums over 2 years ago and since then, I haven’t looked back. As an essential step in a skin care routine, be it day or night, I always make sure I have one in my collection.

I must say, Elemis is one skincare brand I can attest to! Not because I have and continue to work with them, but because they have amazing products that work excellently well with my skin. I had shared their Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm a while back, but today, I will be sharing more on their Pro-Collagen Serum.
I never miss a serum step in my skincare routine, and this one from Elemis is a good one also. It rejuvenates, firms and renews. It is said to be an alternative to retinol (retinol is a good ingredient in skincare which helps to significantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while hydrating and supporting the skin’s moisture levels. (Via Elemis) It also minimizes discoloration, pores and sun damage, whilst visibly improving skin’s clarity.
Collagen is a protein contained in skincare products which improves skin elasticity, reduce visible wrinkles and increase blood flow to the skin. It is definitely an ingredient you should incorporate into your daily skincare routine, especially if you want fight any of those skin issues. You know at this point, I am going to say I enjoy using this product and I love the formula, very light and absolves nicely into the skin.
I have to quickly state that this Renewal Serum is infused with a blend of Padina Pavonica (also known as Peacock’s tail, is a brown alga that accumulates in many bodies of water eg Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean, which helps in the preservation and maintenance of the skin’s collagen) and Red Microalgae (which helps increase skin moisture, elasticity, moisture retention, & promotes skin smoothness), along with Alfalfa and Stevia extracts that deliver retinol-like benefits.
Apply every morning and evening after cleansing by dispensing 4-5 drops into the hands. Gently massage over the face in upward strokes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly. (via Elemis). Be consistent with it and you will see results.
