Trying out skincare products is one of my favorite sports, I enjoy discovering amazing and not so amazing products. While I have my everyday go tos, the act of finding amazing skincare products gives me pure joy.
On today’s blog post, I will be sharing my review on the Dermalogica Cleanse + Glow Set, which is also a great gift idea.
My thoughts on all three products are, they are INCREDIBLE to use at once, but I will share my most favorite, least favorite amongst them and why. First off, this Dermalogica cleanse + glow set contains three products which are great for double cleansing. A double cleanse technique is the best way to keep your skin thoroughly clean and refreshed in other to have that natural glow. The set contains a Precleanse, Special cleansing gel and a Daily Microfoliant.
For sure, the precleanse is my favorite!!!! It contains vegan oil with a smooth and soothing texture that helps remove makeup and dirt from my skin, while retaining my natural oil. It doesn’t completely strip my natural oil away but moisturizes while doing that. I think I will incorporate this into my routine as it’s great first step for cleansing and I have grown to enjoy oil based cleansers more especially now that I use cleansing balms.
The cleansing gel is my next favorite, it’s great to use, but the formula feels too thick compared to other cleansing gels I use. It’s also a yes/no feeling for me especially when it has to do with texture but it really cleansed my skin and also a product I can incorporate into my routine but not a must have.
The microfoliant is my least favorite and I am guessing because of the rice based light fragrance it has. It’s mild on the skin to use, comes in a powder formula which is different and unique as that’s my first time trying out an exfoliant in that formula, but it felt a little off for me due to the rice fragrance. However, my skin felt POLISHED immediately after using it. The texture of my skin felt smooth and the overall appearance was bright, which I am guessing came from the use of all three products in one sitting. It’s a great exfoliant for everyday use, which I can incorporate into my routine long term.
Finally, I will say the Dermalogica cleanse + glow set truly lives up to its name as I was amazed by the final results afterwards. My thoughts in each product doesn’t take away from how incredible they are by themselves and together.
