I am sure you know by now as a thrifty lady, I collect Vintage pieces and as such, I stumbled on this Vintage Talbots dress with unique buttons and pleats. Comes with a belt but styled differently because of my bump. The quality of this dress in unmatched, great condition and fits perfectly. Red shoes are also a thrift find, which goes perfectly with the bright red dress as both items are portraying a retro look, one that was typically worn in the 80s.

When styling Vintage pieces for Christmas Holidays, you have to first decide on the look you are going for, whether is a glam look, victorian look, daisy, cottage core etc. I was going for a Prairie holiday look in this vintage dress and spicing it up in a colorful way, which typically depicts my style.

Worried about how to style a vintage dress for the holidays? throw in some modern pieces/accessories to switch up the look, making it look a little more contemporary without taking away the retro vibe.

I styled this dress with a Shein sea foam green coat (old), a Badgley Mischka bag, and a pair of Zara earrings, to keep the color cohesive, while throwing on some retro looking glasses to complete the look. I mean is this not the perfect combination of vintage meets contemporary for a Holiday look? Of course the red and green combination tops it off as the perfect Christmas look without being too Christmassy as I went for a different shade of green.

This look can be worn to any Christmas party, from Office holiday look, to Mid day Christmas tea party, to holiday lunch party and Christmas dinner of course. Looks modest and fashionable for any scenario.
