We all have those basic items we need for a functional day to day wardrobe, but is your Spring Summer wardrobe complete without a bodysuit and a pair of denim cargo pants? Obviously not if those items are missing in your wardrobe.
On this blog post, I will be sharing more on some essential pieces you need to have in your Summer wardrobe.
If you haven’t noticed, bodysuits are huge in some sort of way. This involves not just the regular pieces made as bodysuits, but people using bathing suits ie swimsuits in place of bodysuits and styling them into Summer looks. Now that spin on bodysuit I definitely love because it adds more stretch to the options you can get out of them. It also makes them an essential summer wardrobe piece.
When it comes to styling bodysuits, they are very versatile. You can wear them for parties, to the office, beach, dinner or brunch. All you have to do is put your own twist to them.
This red bodysuit from New York & Company, has sufficient stretch designed to give your body the comfort and contour that it needs. I love the voluminous ruffles on the sleeves which adds drama to it. It is a simple but statement bodysuit which you can style with a pair of denim shorts, maxi skirt, denim trousers, skirt or sarong for that beach look.
The next essential item to have in your closet for Summer is a denim cargo pants. If you don’t know, cargo pants are a hot trend right now and I bought into that trend because of the silhouette cargo pants give. They have the fit of a wide leg pants which is one of my absolute favorites when it comes to clothing items.
This is a high-waisted cargo pocket wide leg jeans from New York & Company. I am wearing size 6 and the fit is perfect. It is a medium wash denim which brings a classic denim look with utility trend together. I also love that they come with added stretch, which is very important when it comes to denim. The full length makes it more stylish and will pair nicely with any footwear.
Denim is so essential to an everyday closet all season round and styling them is never a hassle. I am not a denim trouser girl but I sure have them in my closet out of necessity.
