I see people wear shorts and I just love how well they style them. I don’t wear much shorts neither do I own a lot of them. Not that I don’t like them, but I never think to add them to my closet until it starts getting very warm.
Shorts are really cute whether that’s a Bermuda shorts or bum shorts. The only reservation I have for shorts is if they are literally showing your bare bum. However, lengths like mine are not obnoxious and can look cute on older people. You look decent while still wearing “shorts”. Since they are considered body hugging pieces, I prefer to style them with oversized t-shirts or button down shirts. That gives my body room to breathe.
I also find them worth having during summer activities with my boys. I get to dress the part and also look cute while jumping and going through slides. It’s just an easy piece to own and style into summer. This look is more of a casual “let’s grab quick noon cocktail” look. For night time, I will style it a little different, with some fun draping tops. Ugh imagine this look with a white over sized T-shirt or white button down shirt- that’s the perfect summer look!.
