It’s safe to say that YSL beauty has taken over a large portion of my makeup vanity and I can clearly say I have loved most, if not all of them. I recently got the summer essential beauty picks to enhance your summer glow from ysl beauty, now let’s get into every bit.
Before we dive into the products, let’s all take a moment to appreciate how stunning and eye catching YSL couture clutch packaging is. I can have them just laying on my makeup vanity just because they look and feel very luxurious. They get it all the time and not just the packaging, but the formula, texture and finish.
New in is their All Hours Hyper Bronze, which is infused with Hyaluronic aid. You know we love a good skincare infused makeup product. I have shade 4 Warm Sandalwood and shade 5 Dark Sienna. This multi-use bronzing powder provides a flawless natural skin finish and a sun kissed warmth. It’s soft, buttery and applies on the skin beautifully without feeling heavy at all.

Next is the Touche Eclat Awakening Pen, which is an illuminator and corrector. I am yet to try this out but it claims to give you an experience of 8 hours of beauty sleep in one click. It’s basically a concealer that gives your skin an illuminating glow. It conceals, brightens and lifts your skin.It’s a sheer to medium coverage and I got shade 6.5. I have been eager to get this just because of the name haha how silly. French beauty products are interesting to have haha. You can get the bronzer and pen as a set “Summer Glow Bundle” or pick one or the other.- I used it yesterday and it’s truly sheer, great for those no makeup makeup. days.
This concealer pen reminds me of the Smashbox Halo Glow 4 in 1 perfecting pen. They both have the same concept and smash box is REALLY good. Although the smash box one gives more coverage from reviews I have seen of the YSL one, it is a good way to test out pen concealers to see if you like them, before splurging on the YSL one.
