My Costa Rican experience

We stayed at a beautiful Villa in Tamarindo which we were told is the most expensive town lol well we had good fun so it was irrelevant at the time of receiving the information. The Villa came with a House Mom who made delicious meals and cleaned for us, so we had nothing to worry about housekeeping. However, we are well trained ladies, so we never kept the place messy.

As we arrived, we had a quick reset and went out to grab our first casual dinner at Tabu. Meal was 10/10 delicious and it is situated by the beach, which was perfect for an evening night out. I mostly had videos of my dishes so if you want, you can check out my tiktok for ideas.

The second day was adventure day, 2 hours away from our Villa at a place called Buena Vista. Our first activity was Zip lining which I chickened out because your girl is terribly afraid of heights. From zip lining, we had a brief presentation from a team showing us how they make natural brown sugar and you know, we had to buy some to bring home. The other ladies bought good coffee and a bunch of other items. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take a lot of picture here as it was a go go activity, but we did more of short clips.

The next activity was water slide, horse back riding, then Mud bath and finally hot spring bath. We got to have a lunch break in between all of these. The experience was amazing, my favorite was the mud bath and the hot spring. The water slide was adrenaline rush but super fun.

Red door restaurant in Cost Rica

When we got back from the adventure, we dashed off to a food menu tasting get together in a restaurant called Tropical. Very delicious bite sized meal but we were so hungry after a full day of climbing and swinging, we needed lump sum meals. It was an incredible night.

The next day, was beach day. We bought a day pass for the Reserva Conchal; Westin Conchal. We had access to the all inclusive resort from 8-5, with all food, drinks, pool and beach access. Same day was my friend’s birthday, so we got back to the Villa, relaxed for a bit, got dressed and went to a restaurant called Red door for dinner.

Last day before our flight was a relaxation day. We had private massage at the Villa during the day and at night, we had private chef cook us dinner. What a way to end a lovely girls trip. We are very eager to get back together again and just enjoy a good time.

Have you gone on a girl’s trip before? If yes, were you the planner or are you the type to just pay rather than plan the entire trip?

  1. Loved it! What are your recommendations for great products to help with hyperpigmentation? Your skin is amazing btw!

    1. Thank you! Vitamin C helps with hyperpigmentation and I love the Pixi Vitamin C toner. I also wear sunscreen everyday, which really helped fade away my dark spots. So Vitamin C and Sunscreen first.
