The colder months require knee high boots and long length coats, and what better place to find a quality coat than the thrift stores. This winter coat has been and continues to be one of my favorites that I keep close to my heart. I love the color and material composition of this thrifted coat. It is 80 % wool, thick and the perfect color that pairs well with other colors.

When it comes to style, monochromatic outfits continue to top charts. They are low effort, chic and fashion forward. I have given so many tips of styling monochrome looks and one of a good way to break it is by acessorisng with another color to break the uniformity. Of course, I chose this thrifted winter coat to break the uniformity.
I am true and true thrifty girl. Before I buy a fast fashion piece, I check my local thrift stores for similar items. Most, if not 98% of my winter outerwear are from my Goodwill. The quality is amazing, you pay less for what you get. Unmatched quality for a fraction of what these online brands offer. This year, I continued to search for another unique coat to add to my wardrobe.
TIPS on finding the best winter coats.
When you visit your local stores, go in with nothing in mind but something in mind; am I making sense? I go in search of coats with certain details in mind, but definitely open to finding other items. This way, I don’t feel disappointed because I end up finding items I never imagine I would. For coats, blazers and outerwear, check the structure and material composition with at least 60% wool, to get the best quality.
