I barely wear foundation, but I may have found lightweight foundation that I would be using this Spring through Summer if need be. Since transitioning to skin tints and tinted serums for my everyday to full makeup look, I have not bothered to add foundations to my beauty counter. However, I do have a couple of foundation bottles sitting on my vanity, from Lancome, to Smashbox etc with skincare benefits.
Today, I am chatting all about the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation. The before and after pictures, the texture, wear time and all those good/bad stuff we want to know about a product.
You become skeptical when you have to buy a foundation online without swatching the shade on your skin, to know how it oxidizes. When you work with beauty brands, you get to try different shades to get your perfect shade. This time, I was sent just one shade by Armani beauty. Shade 13 was a perfect match!.
Foundation for Minimalist makeup.
I am makeup minimalist, I do not bake, I do not layer multiple foundations or concealers; hence my base products have to be a one and done best. With dry skin, I do not need anything drying, but hydrating, with minimal dew and glow to enhance my overall skin. The Luminous Silk Foundation ticked all those boxes.
I want to have makeup on, but still look recognizable without makeup on. The foundation is weightless with 89% skincare base. I used a pump and half, completed my look with other minimal products and it was the perfect hydration and glow my skin needed.
