I love to look good, but definitely on a budget. People always wonder where, and how I shop for my clothes and accessories. The truth is, I shop any, and everywhere affordable because, I will rather spend more money in investing than buying expensive clothes. Don’t get me wrong, there are accessories that are also considered an investment. However, this does not mean that I do not splurge, but my everyday wardrobe is a mixture of highs, low lows, and the in between.

I shop anywhere from thrift stores, to online retailers and departmental stores. The best way to also shop on a budget is shopping sales and finding other retailers who stock them for less. Before you buy something full price, always search for discounts, codes, etc. This helps eliminate the possibility of overspending on an item, and saving some coins.
When I need an item, the first place I search depending on the item, is the thrift stores because honestly, they have better quality than most fast fashion retailers. I curate my items according to what I already own.
A clear example is this outfit. Had the shoes a while back, found the purse later. A Victoria Secret vintage purchase. Another year, I found this FashionNova skirt in a thrift store and it looked interesting. Last year, when I travelled to London, I bought the vest. Unintentionally, I was curating pieces from different places, that will now be what it seems like the perfect pair.
