Office Christmas Party Outfit Idea.

Outfit idea for an Office holiday Christmas Party

Despite the current situation around the world, a few of us are still able to go into our offices and work our 9-5 jobs, while others have been subjected to working from home. With these development, we will be having lots of Office Zoom Christmas parties this year that is why I decided to create a look for those who will have a “Safe Office Christmas Party” this year.

Today’s Blog Post is In Collaboration with New York and Company and I will be sharing more on this their Black Sequin Blazer. All my socials are linked in the menu button above.

The holiday season calls for celebration and parties to attend and you would want to look your best whether in a casual, semi-formal or business casual way. This Sequin Blazer is definitely one you can dress up or totally dress down with a pair of jeans but today I decided to create a look for an Office Christmas Party that is why I went more semi-formal.

It is not a must to wear a Blazer/Jacket for an Office Party but to create that Perfect Office Party Look, you have to wear a Jacket with matching Pants. Sometimes, it could be difficult to balance that out because you don’t want to look too formal or under dressed.

This is a shimmering cobalt-hued sequin blazer, well tailored to fit your silhouette. It has a notched collar, slim shoulder pads, open front, lined with a back vent. It didn’t come with the belt, I had to improvise to create the look I was going for and it was pictured with a belt on their website which i thought was very flattering.

Is it appropriate for a Christmas Party? Yes. Is it appropriate for an Office Christmas Party with a Semi Formal dress code? Absolutely and this takes me to why I styled it this way.

I ditched the traditional work wear shoes for these sandals, in other to show off my lace tights which I threw on to give that festive holiday feel to my entire look and this mini croc bag also from New York & Company.

My initial plan was to style the blazer alone with the lace tights but my misconception of the length failed me so I had to quickly switch up my look by throwing on these my all time favorite pleat pants to look decent. Went ahead and styled with my layered necklace, kept my makeup simple with a bold red lipstick.
