This Face Makeup Kit, was launched to celebrate women of color. Their makeup is all natural, vegan and certified gluten free as they strive to make beauty inclusive and accessible to everyone. (Via Gabriel Cosmetics).

This Face Makeup Kit Consists of:

Moisturizing Liquid Foundation: Creamy and luxurious, this medium to full coverage liquid foundation is made with naturally derived ingredients to even out skin tone and give skin a silky, natural finish. Infused with vitamins A and E, the unique plant based hydration system keeps skin supple and resilient, not oily. (via Gabriel Cosmetics)

Dual Powder Foundation: Formulated to help minimize shine and absorb excess oil without clogging pores or drying out the skin. This velvety plant-based formula performs both as a foundation and powder for a smooth matte finish. (Via Gabriel Cosmetics)

Cream Concealer: Light and creamy water-based concealer designed to correct skin tone irregularities, camouflage imperfections and under eye circles with full natural-looking coverage. (Via Gabriel Cosmetics)

At first, I was a little concerned about the foundation shade when I received it, but went ahead and tried it anyways. It came off looking a shade or two darker than my skin tone, however, I used the creamy concealer (not pictured here) and with a little bit of my Nars Creamy Concealer to brighten under my eye area and a my T-zone. Afterwards, I used the dual Powder foundation which I absolutely love and its perfect for my skin tone, to finish up the look and lock in that mattifying coat. I must say however, I love the finishing look of the foundation as it feels and looks silky on the skin, leaving it supple and moisturized.

The overall look was achieving a skin finish with a pop of purple lipstick for a Valentine’s Day Look. Chose this lip shade because it is a feminine and pretty shade perfect for the season. Kept my eye look minimal with the focus on my face, lips and cheeks, topping off a lilac & champagne shimmer for a little glow on the cheeks. With a look like this, you can switch your lipstick to pink, red or a basic nude and you will be ready for the day.
