Omni Hotel recently opened in Oklahoma City with the perfect location in downtown, overseeing the Chesapeake Arena, with close proximity to Scissor Tail Park. Inclusive with the Hotel, is the Mokara Spa which is located on the third floor of the building. The well designed Spa, creates a welcoming and calming environment aimed at giving you a relaxed experience. This is definitely a place to visit after a long week of stressful activities.
Mokara Spa offers services such as Massages, Facials, Nail Treatments, Body Treatments, Massage Enhancements and Salon services etc. However, for the purpose of this post, I will be sharing more on the Deep Therapeutic Massage I had, which was the best Spa experience I have had in the last year. Other massage sessions they offer include: The Mokara Signature, Himalayan Salt Stone, Couples massage, Restorative Stone, Arnica Sports, Body Treatments etc
The Deep Therapeutic Massage is a treatment which includes a mixture of deep intensive massage with hot towel compressions to help warm and relax stressed bodies. Mokara Spa offers this massage in 50/80 minutes and I went for the 80 minutes session which commenced with deeply inhaling eucalyptus essential oil, to calm my entire body down.
My therapist was attentive to my tensed muscle joints, taking her time to assert pressure on those areas to relief the tight muscles. Those areas included my back and neck region, with particular focus on my entire back, which has been sore for the longest time and I needed some sort of relief. The Omni signature therapeutic blend of arnica and healing properties were used to penetrate deep into my tissues to help reduce inflammation and sores in my joints and muscles which was particular to my back region. The relief I had during and afterwards was excellent.
The environment and sections at the Spa are welcoming and relaxing. The Spa has a locker space where you can store your belongings, bathrooms, a number of massage rooms to accommodate Spa sessions, a relaxation room where you get to take some time out to relax immediately after your massage session. The entire Spa feels soothing and serene, to give you that relaxed experience. I enjoyed my experience there and would for sure be revisiting again.
