How To Create A Spring Summer Makeup Look.

What better time to keep your make fun and fresh than Spring time going into Summer. It is the season to be creative with incredible makeup looks, from eyeshadow palettes to lipsticks, highlighters etc. This however doesn’t mean your makeup won’t look great other seasons, but there is something fun and bubbly about a Spring makeup.

On Today’s blog post, I will be sharing more on my most recent and decent makeup I have done in a while, which happens to be the one I had for my friend’s wedding about two weeks ago.

Most times, I start off my makeup not having a particular look in mind whether natural or glam, I am always indecisive. However, I always fall back to my outfit, considering what look will enhance the pieces I plan to wear while complimenting my makeup as well and few times I opt for a more natural look when I have a multi-colored outfit planned.

For this look, I knew I would go a little glam considering I had a plain dress. The focus was going to be on my makeup, to help enhance my plain dress, while the dress will compliment my look especially my lips. My base routine hasn’t changed for the most part, because I still use my Nars Luminous Weightless Foundation even though I I have a collection of other brands.

To begin this look, I primed my face with the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Primer which helps get my skin ready for the products I will be using afterwards. After that, I went in with Nars Foundation in shade Medium Dark 5 (New Guinea), and then went on to work on my eyes, using the Natasha Denona Peak Palette (sold out everywhere, found this on poshmark) and and the Ciate London Velvet Palette which happens to be my first time using. For the base of my eyelids, I used the shade Amhara from the Natasha Denona Palette, to help set me eyelids. After which I went in with the Ciate palette, using the Mauve shade for my crease (Unfortunately, this palette has no names on its pan). For a little shimmer on my eyelids and inner eyes, I used the gold shimmer shade form the Ciate Palette, continuously layering, making sure it stays in place. Finally for my brow bone, I used a little bit of the Aya and Shine shade from the Natasha Denona Peak palette.

For my brows, I used the Milk makeup Kush bow gel in shade grind. That brow gel is amazing and I just restocked on that this ongoing Sephora Spring Sale. Moving on to my face, I used the Merit Skin Perfection Stick in shade “Buff” underneath my eyes and a little bit of my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade Medium Dark 3 (Amande) to highlight my forehead, bridge of my nose and my chin, while I used the Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer as my face and nose contour. Eyeliner by Doucce Cosmetics, love how sharp the graphic pen draws and my newest obsession, the Tarte Maneater Mascara which has proven to me that I don’t need to fix falsies.

For my highlighter, I used Makeup Revolution Precious Stone Rose Quartz Palette and my Mac Cosmetics Finishing Powder. For my lips, I used my L.A Colors liquid matte lipstick in shade “Illusion” and my Merit Blush in “Raspberry Beret”
