We are currently in wedding season, where the flowers bloom and the sun is in full display. A time people wait to exchange vows with their significant other, a time where as a guest or friend, you want to look your best without outshining the bride lol.
On Today’s Blog Post, I will be sharing more on Wedding Guest Dresses and how to look stylish as a wedding guest.
As a wedding guest, it is important to look nice. Not only are you there to celebrate with your friend, family or loved one, there will be picture sessions that will last a lifetime in their wedding album, and you don’t want to be poorly dressed that 10 years down the line, you distaste what you wore as a guest. While having that at the back of your mind, it is also key that you are modest and stylish, without coming off as being too much as a guest, because the day is about the bride and groom and not you. You don’t want to take the attention away from from the couple.
Your choice of dress should be intentional and thoughtful as a wedding guest. You should go for a dress or outfit that stands out as a guest. Accessories with statement but classic pieces, keeping your style minimal and beautiful at the same time. This dress as pictured above, was a piece I knew I had to have for the season whether I had a wedding to attend or not. It is a dress you want to make space for in your closet. As my friend’s wedding approached, I knew it had to be the one and it had to make a debut at her wedding as a guest.

Love the colour, perfect for Spring and comes in this excellent cotton fabric, with the gorgeous powder blue shade. For Styling, I chose to stick with gold accent accessories for my shoes and purse.
Platforms are in this season and I couldn’t resist adding this Nine West Zienna Platform Heels to my Spring Collection. Very comfortable and comes in this wet look glossy finish. Paired with my Kurt Geiger Purse(old), link chain bracelet and my diamond shaped earrings. Gave myself a simple glam look and I was good to go.
