Stemming from my last post, I decided to create and share another brunch worthy look. Something slightly similar to the last look, which can be a second outfit option if you have an upcoming brunch date.
While I say dresses are preferable for brunches, they are not the final and ultimate look. An ultimate look is what makes you feel your best while looking good at the same time.
There is something refreshing about a white piece, whether it’s a dress, a pants or skirt. They deliver a clean fresh look to an outfit, and one way of incorporating them into your look is by either choosing one piece to style as the focal item, or creating a monochromatic white look. Here, I chose this High waisted Mom jeans as my focal styling piece. This has to be the best and most comfortable white jeans I own. It is a thrift find, which comes with an elasticized waist at both corner. The length and material is incredible, 99% cotton and 1% Elastane.
I began to build a my white pair of jeans by adding colorful pieces here and there, with the first piece being this Fuschia pink ribbed top I got from New York and Company, toned it a little bit down with my powder blue Nine West Mules I got from Burlington (Burlington is the place to go if you are on the hunt for affordable cute pieces. When putting your looks together, it’s never that serious. Just think about the silhouette, the color scheme and mood you are going for.
