Overall, a good makeup look starts with an excellent base. Once you have the right skin work for your face, you can add on to what has been created. A good base also starts with a good skin prep ie your skincare step before your foundation and concealer. Once that has been achieved, your eyeshadow, lipstick contour and highlighter are the last steps to give that final holiday glam makeup you are going for.
I was going for a little shimmer on my eyes so I used the Stila Cosmetics Glow Shimmer in shade Kitten Karma to achieve this winged eye look, Becca Cosmetics Bronzer and Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter to define my face. Brows, were done with the Charlotte Tilbury Brow Gel and Pencil, ugh love that collection as its super easy to use. I can barely see my lashes but mascara is Tarte Manaeater and works great.
A bold red lip is always a festive makeup topper, but if you don’t venture the red lip paths, you can always stick to your nude choices. Lip is the Coral lip pencil and lipstick from the Dose of Colors X Nyma Tang collaboration collection. Finishing powder is by Wander Beauty (powder foundation), my first time using it, and I love it. The finishing is flawless.
