A Clean Skincare And Beauty Brand.

three important ingredients in skincare products

What can be considered a clean skincare product? This has been a question skincare and beauty brands have answered over time by introducing clean products to the public.

Of course taking a brand’s word on how clean their products are, is a bet on our skin.

I never put so much thought into how products that contain toxic ingredients can be harmful to the skin, until I started taking my skincare journey seriously. In other words, taking the skincare products that I used into consideration, made me realize how important it is to have clean skincare and beauty products.

However, this does not mean my entire skincare and beauty collection is proven “clean” but I was able to introduce cleaner and better options.

Since getting my hands on the Honest Beauty line, I have never looked back. They are a clean skincare brand I discovered on Flip, which is a beauty shopping app I am a creator on. The first product I tried out through the app is their Hydrogel Cream and let me tell you, that moisturizer changed my skincare routine. With someone who has dry skin which gets worse in winter, this was the best moisturizer to switch to.

Prior to that, I had used different moisturizers especially from Neutrogena- their Hydro boost Moisturizers, but nothing stood out like this one from Honest Beauty.

This is their Stay Hydrated Serum which is designed to draw and hold moisture in the skin, thanks to three types of hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights for multi-depth hydration!!

Next is the Hydrogel Cream which contains two types of Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane and NFM (Natural Moisturising Factor). It is Vegan, Cruelty Free and Dermatologist Tested. It is one of the Clean Skincare brands I won’t go back on using as I would always have one in my collection.

This moisturizer instantly hydrates my skin, makes my skin look healthier, dewy, glowy and supple. I can say my fine lines are invisible! Using the cream and serum together is like and instant rush of hydration to the skin.

The Calm and Renew Eye Balm is definitely one that encompasses all you need to revive your tired dry eyes. My under eyes have never gone dry or itchy since using this balm. This luxurious balm nourishes the eyes and leaves them looking more youthful and wrinkle free.

These skincare products are clean and would never give you any adverse reaction. It doesn’t matter whether you have oil skin or not, these products will help replenish moisture to your skin, which in turn leaves it healthier and younger.

The Organic Beauty Facial Oil may be my least favourite amongst all of them but it’s definitely a good one too. It contains organic oils like Avocado Oil and Jojoba Oil which helps replenish your skin moisture. It keeps my skin glowy especially in this dry skin. Also a great pair for gua sha.

Their Everyday Radiance + C Moisturizer is packed with nourishing ingredients like Niacinamide andVitamin C. If you know anything about Niacinamide, you know that it helps with hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone and dull skin. Same thing applies to Vitamin C infused products. These ingredients help to improve the appearance of your skin tone. Since using this, it has helped reduce the hyperpigmentation I had all over my face especially in my temples area.
