I feel I haven’t shared as much colorful fashion looks for you guys on here this Summer. I wasn’t going to close out my summer looks without sharing one or two for the books. As you all know, color is my forte.
What is a colorful fashion without a sharp contrast?. These emerald green pieces have served my closet and continued to do so, that I had to use them to style a color combination look again. All shades are perfect to create a monochromatic look, as well as to style a totally different color like this yellow.
One of my best tips in creating color combination looks, is to find two colors you are willing to work with and go from there. You can create a monochromatic base and style with another contrast color rather than using different gradients of one color and a totally different shade, you will look all over the place. My outfit looks very cohesive because I used two colors and stuck with the same shades of both colors.

Whenever you think about colorful looks, think cohesiveness and balance. You never want to style a colorful look and be all over the place. People always think neutrals are classy, but you can definitely pull of a colorful look in a classy way, it’s all about putting in thoughtful ways to make your look eye catchy but elegant at the same time.
