What’s more chic than a flowy easy breezy look for a Spring Summer evening. We love everything oversized here, whether that’s a wide leg pants or a boxy shirt or top. The weather is warm, so I need some air to flow through my body, something comfortable yet chic!.
To be able to achieve that, nothing beats a monochromatic pink look. A feminine chic look, perfect for summer.
RULES TO MONOCHROME LOOKS.
It’s about colour placement. How well you pair your choice of colour shade, speaks volumes. You never want to be uniformly but cohesive in colour, gradient is shades to create that beautiful contrast and balance. You never want to be all over the place with your colours, but a balanced look, becomes eye catching and a conversation starter.
If you have been here long enough, you know I do not joke about my colourful looks. For spring summer, I have been adding pieces here and there to my closet, but not necessarily calling in spring summer shopping. Picked both pants and shirt from my girlfriend’s closet sale, shout out to Prisca and the concept of preloved items. I knew both colours would pair well with what I already own in my closet.
Never worried about tucking or sucking, just enjoying the evening in baggy clothing that look chic! That has to be the biggest summer flex. You get to eat and drink without constriction.
