OKAY, I AM NOT ONE TO JUMP ON TRENDS. I make my own trend. However, I saw this brown and blue look going around social channels, and as a color lover, I had never paired both colors together so I was intrigued and loved it so much that I had to re-create mine.
I chose to go with what I had in my closet and this tan thrifted faux leather pants was my first pick. What I had in mind was a dark chocolate brown to pair with the sky blue sweater. However, I am of the opinion to work with what you have in your closet. I must say, I didn’t have any “plain blue” sweater in my closet so I thrifted this sweater from OK GOODWILL to create as near as the color scheme goes.
Both colors are soft and perfect. They compliment and contrast each other in a nice way. Tan will always be a tone/shade that will fo with any color under the sun. Being a secondary color, it is easier to style. I chose my Aldo Sandals I got from Clothes Mentor here in Edmond, Oklahoma and my brown bag from Francesca.
