A houndstooth jacket is one fashionable item that will never go out of style. It’s a piece that is worn year after year, season after season. From designer brands to high street and thrifted pieces, houndstooth is always a classic. This print comes in different modern colors, but the traditional houndstooth fabric is made of out two tones- typical black and white, in broken checks with the characteristic of a hound dog’s teeth, hence the name “HOUNDSTOOTH”. With a fabric like this, it comes in different styles- dresses, tops, jacket, blazers, pants etc. Whatever style you choose to wear, it definitely gives that extra touch to your entire look.
I personally love this print, so layering and styling pieces with the same houndstooth fabric is a no brainer for me. It doesn’t matter how you choose to style yours, a houndstooth piece will always stand out. The sophistication this jacket speaks, is always beyond me. The faux fur collar, certainly gives it that extra classy touch it needs to make it both sophisticated and luxe. You can style this with any dress of your choice as shown in this Blog Post, a pair of Levi Jeans, leggings, a top, or a turtle neck white sweater underneath, in form of a layering piece.
Chose my {OLD} Primark Black leggings and my slouchy Ralph Lauren Boots to style. Doubled the layer of my leggings to keep me warm while creating that body hugging look, threw on a pair of clear acrylic hoops to style.
