While some are craving Fall to come quickly, most if not more, are still hanging onto the last days of Summer. The heat wave has been unbearable so I’m ready for a little chilly day.
On today’s blog post, I will be sharing a suitable look for that wedding you have before summer runs out. This blog post is in collaboration with New York & Company.
As we approach the end of summer, thoughts rumble through your mind on what to wear for that last wedding you have. As a guest, you want to look simply good, and the best way to do it is with a simple beautiful dress or a two piece set that looks like a dress. These choices are the easiest to throw on and style. While a two piece set may not be your take, they are the best as you don’t have to think of what to pair what with and all you have to worry about are your accessories.
This Felicity Crop top and Maddie Skirt from New York & Company is a great choice and I didn’t think hard on how to style it. The printed Scoopneck Shell Top is from their NY&C Legacy Collection, which lends a distinctive touch to any outfit, with a sleek, V-shape back and modern check print. Fabric is soft on and it feels lightweight perfect for the weather.
The Maddie Skirt is an A-line style with a solid color waist band. Comes with little pleats at the top, which sits nicely on. Love that both items can be worn together or styled separately.
For styling, I threw on a bunch of gold and cream accessories to match and blend with the pieces and they are perfect for a wedding guest look.
