What is spring summer without a white dress? It is a must have for the season as they bring a refreshing look to your entire wardrobe. Of course wearing white dresses isn’t restricted to just spring summer, as they can be worn all year round. However, there is something interesting, fun and flattering about wearing white dresses for spring summer.
This season calls for white dresses in different styles, fabrics and designs. However, the ones I am particularly drawn to, are those with eyelets or lace but I couldn’t help but get this one from New York and Company.

This is a cut-out woven accent poplin dress from New York and Company. It is a simple yet flattering white dress perfect for spring summer. It is super chic and trendy with a little bit of statement. The woven ring accent ties the summer element to the entire dress and makes it more stylish. I love that it looks plain with a twist ie the flouncy tiered ruffle skirt, the cut-outs at the waist and the poplin sleeves makes for a stylish white dress.
How To Style White Dresses For Spring Summer.
White dresses are usually the easiest to style because you have a plain piece to work with. Whichever look you decide to go for, you only need accessories that compliment or contrast the piece. However, if you want a more bright and airy look, opt for minimal accessories that will compliment your white dress rather than taking away from it.
I chose to style this white dress for spring summer by choosing pieces that already compliments the dress. I was excited to find these Stuart Weizmann platforms on one of my thrift trips because they are the perfect addition to my Spring summer wardrobe.
