It is that time of the year where we begin shooting Fall looks in the heat. Honestly, I am not upset about it as I love being a resource to you all. Now, the big question goes “Is a Fall look really complete without a touch of a classic houndstooth piece? The answer depends but for this post, we will say No.
A houndstooth blazer is one fashionable item that will never go out of style. It’s a piece that is worn year after year especially for Fall Winter.
From designer brands to high street, fast fashion and thrifted pieces, houndstooth is always a classic. This print comes in different modern colors, but the traditional houndstooth fabric is made of out two tones- typical black and white, in broken checks with the characteristic of a hound dog’s teeth, hence the name “HOUNDSTOOTH”.
A statement fabric such as this, comes in different styles- dresses, tops, jacket, blazers, pants etc. Whatever style you choose to wear, it definitely gives that extra touch to your entire look.

There are so many ways to style a houndstooth blazer, but I decided to keep mine simple by pairing it with either a solid wide leg pants or a skirt. For a more maximalist way, you can mix prints or pair with another houndstooth bottoms. I infused the print by acessorizing with the same houndstooth platforms which has to be one of the most comfortable shoes I have.
