Best Cream Blushes To Have In 2023.

Tower 28 Beach Please Luminous Tinted Balm

Blushes are highly underrated. They are the significant piece that ties what I define to be a good makeup look. Whether you are going for a natural everyday look, or a full glam, blushes will impact the overall look of your makeup.

In the same breath, I will choose a blush especially a cream blush over a foundation any day because I tend to wear blushes more than I would a foundation. With a good blush, some mascara and brow gel, you are set to hit the door for your day.

On today’s blog post, I will be sharing “some” of my blushes in my collection, why I love them and why I think you should add them to your beauty counter for 2023. This however is not a final list as I will keep updating it for you guys.

A good blush adds color and life back into cheeks, which emulates that healthy flush, a shimmer or dewy formula adds a glow, and it truly is the final ribbon that ties together any makeup look.

These are a few of my selection. Starting off is the Merit Flush Cream Blush Balm which happens to be my most worn blush. It’s hydrating, last on for long, lightweight, easily blendable and gives a satin finish. It doesn’t feel cakey on my skin, it contains Vitamin E that conditions the Skin and gives a healthy flushed cheek look. I have shade “Raspberry Beret” and it looks good on dark skin tones.

Next cream blush that has my heart is the Pixi On-the Glow Blush. It is a tinted moisture stick that is hydrating for the lips and cheeks. I love that it’s a stick so it makes application easy. I use shade “Ruby” and it’s a pretty flush color that makes me look more alive and young. It comes in three different shades, contains Vitamins and Antioxidant benefits.

The next one I have been loving lately is this Tower 28 BeachPlease Lips and Cheeks Cream Blush. I got it in the shade “Golden Hour” which plays off an orangey shade! It’s soo soft and creamy!! The swatch is unbelievably gorgeous and it gives the healthy dewy flush balm look you would want in a natural everyday makeup look.

Reasons Why Cream Blushes Are On The Rise.

Everyone wants to have a young and healthy looking skin. Even those who love full glam, still love to infuse subtility to their look. Cream blushes give a radiant, glowing and dewy look. Radiant looks tend to give a healthy natural glow to your skin.

With thousands of blushes saturating the makeup industry, you have to find which works best for you, taking into consideration the formula, blendability, finishing, texture, pigmentation and color!

At this point, I call myself a cream blush collector. Constantly adding to my collection when I haven’t hit the pan of an old one. I recently picked up the Chanel Les Beiges Fresh Water Blush in Intense Coral. It is an ultra-lightweight, moisturizing blush infused with micro-droplet pigments that blend seamlessly into skin. I swatched it and it’s very liquidy as it contains 75% of water. Imagine the beautiful flush this will deliver to your skin!

The last two will be categorised together because of their unique formula. The Item Beauty Blushin Like Bouncy Cream Blush and the Elf Putty Blush.

I have the Item Beauty blush in shade “Admit it” and it’s a cream to matte blush that dabs on dewy, and finishes like powder for easy pigment that won’t disrupt your makeup. Which makes it very interesting. I love the pigment in this blush and I’m constantly carried away when applying it.

Finally, the Elf Putty Blush which is a cream blush that transforms into a semi matte powder finish. It’s super lightweight and feels very airy on the skin. I got the shade “Fiji” which plays off a coral/orangey kind of shade!
