I am an huge advocate of shopping sustainably, which can also mean shopping from your closet or repurposing your already existing clothes without having to purchase new ones.
Another way of encouraging sustainable fashion is by thrifting. My closet consists of 45% thrifted clothes which I hoped to have increased by last year but I still find myself shopping other “fast fashion” brands. However, it is not easy to completely transform your wardrobe to 100% sustainable clothing as it is usually an ongoing process.
Looking for that last minute, yet affordable piece for Valentine’s Day? Oklahoma Goodwill is definitely the place to check out. If you are not situated in Oklahoma, your local Goodwill store is a place to check out. I was able to score this Pink sweater, Red Dress and Heels, Red Top, Pants, Bag and Blazer from my local Goodwill store here in Oklahoma.
Shopping from Goodwill has fostered my journey as a sustainable fashion blogger and I never have to worry about looking like everyone else because each item is unique and most times Vintage, which is rare to find.
