Neutrals are chic but I am going to be honest, sometimes they can be boring without character. There are ways to wear neutrals without going overboard and this look is one of them.
If you are venturing into colors as a neutral lover, it can definitely be daunting to style colors but incorporating some shades that are under the umbrella of earthy tones is key and one of them is dark gold. You can style dark gold with warm tones, deep tones and neutrals like chocolate brown, tan or beige. This shade of gold I have on, is more of fire gold, which is on the bright side of the color scheme. Although it photographed as a brighter shade of gold, it can pass for warm neutrals which have yellow undertones.

Styling these warm neutrals like my fire gold shirt is easy. By default, you pair with other neutral shades like tan or beige, to keep your look tonal as possible. These cargo pants pairs perfectly with the shirt while bringing in some bright summer elements. In general, styling neutrals are easier than bold colors because of their muted tones. You can build a neutral look into a colorful one by throwing on bright colored pieces without having to worry of they match. It can be a miss or hit when it comes to styling bright colors.
If you are ever on doubt, you can keep your outfit neutral and throw in some bright colors with your accessories. It is safer to get away with colorful accessories than it is to pair two bold colors that lack balance.
