Now we are officially in Summer, it’s time to share more fun fashion trends for the season, starting off with a colorful look of course.
Sheer or organza pieces are making huge statements this season. From shirts to tops and dresses, I will say they are perfect for the season. Not only is the fabric light and airy, they add that free flowy concept to a look.
My personal style is not dependent on fashion trends, but I do love to incorporate some looks or pieces into my wardrobe that are already part of my style regardless of trends or not. Sheer is having a moment this season and I couldn’t help but add this dress into my summer wardrobe collection.
This dress has a combination of barbie in lilac meets sheer in fabric. The color and silhouette embodies the description of a fun girl summertime. It’s very feminine yet flattering in an interesting way. The sheer and organza makes it puffy, flowy and lightweight. The bubble silhouette and puff sleeves adds that modern touch/statement to the dress.
If your style is not on a full organza/sheer moment, you can incorporate pieces that have a mixture of two different fabrics. You can either opt for a cotton shirt with organza sleeves (Oh that sounds chic) or a leather skirt with some sheer details on the sides. Styling this dress was a no brainer. I sure wanted to tie in more summer element to it and platforms come in handy when adding accessories. This pastel color platforms from Asos, caught the eyes of many when I shared it on my page. I spotted it on my friend and I instantly knew it needed a spot in my closet, especially for Summer.
This is the season to explore and have more fun with your footwear. Platforms are on trend and they are comfy no matter the style or concept. These ones are a little bit too high but still comfortable as a platform should be. Mini bags are also great accessories. Opting for sandals is also a good option when you want a more laid back look compared to platforms which are dressy.
