Building your Fall wardrobe, and curating your pieces to best serve your style is as important as how well you style them. Although we are almost head deep into Fall, there are some basic pieces you absolutely need to build your Fall wardrobe for the season and into Winter.
On today’s blog post, I will be sharing five items that everyone needs in their Fall collection, irrespective of personal style.

Tank tops and racer tops are basic essentials that we need all season long, regardless of Summer, Fall or Winter. They come in handy as a layering piece and you can always get them in different colors. Styling them is very easy and you get your maximum cost per wear.
I recently got this three pack ribbed bodysuit tank tops and they are basic but very essential for Fall; their quality and fit blew my mind. I paid $30 for a pack of three, which brings them to $10 a piece. This is why they are basic items. They don’t have to be very expensive, but good enough to serve the purpose.
Denim trousers/Maxi Skirts- I included maxi skirt into this list because they are great for layering. You can style them with knee high boots, ankle boots, leggings etc and they are still trending from last year. Denim trousers will always serve as a basic wardrobe piece, which we need all season round. The boot cut and wide leg fit are great to wear boots underneath.
Boots- They are part of the season, they are Fall themselves. Choose a style that best fits you and incorporate them into your Fall wardrobe. Flat boots, heeled boots, ankle boots, croc boots, thigh high, knee high boots etc are in for the season and Nordstrom Rack and Steve Madden have a good selection of them.
Trench Coats and Leather Jackets: are a must have for cooler temperatures and stylish looks.
