A No Foundation Fall Makeup Look.

The no foundation look has been, will I say trending for a while now? the minimal makeup look where less is more. This time around, I am taking it up the notch with Fall makeup looks. With Fall comes deeper tones and hues hence the burgundy, berries and deep purples.

Summer was all about light and airy makeup; minimal, less is more makeup looks, while Fall projects a more, heavy and bold makeup looks. While this may not be the case in general, but it is true that when the seasons change, makeup ideas change as well. However, I will be keeping my no foundation base through out Fall except on rare occasions where I just want to play with foundations.

For this look, I used the Jason Wu Tinted Moisturizer meets CC cream (shade 9) in place of a foundation. It gives a good amount of coverage because it’s a CC cream is a bit heavier than tinted moisturizers which are lighter. The Saie Beauty Illuminating Primer has been my everyday go to for that natural base. The gel primer leaves my skin looking fresh and young, with a long lasting look whenever I do a makeup. I prefer this illuminating primer for a simple base and the Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter for a more glowy base look.

Since I am going for a little heavy look, I mixed the Elf liquid filter with the Jason Wu CC cream for a more glowy look. Although I am going for a heavy look, I was light handed when applying these products so my skin could still breath.

fall eyeS and lips makeup look.

Brows are the Elf brow lift. They keep my brows in place all day long. I realized there is a difference between the Elf brow gel and their soap brow. This gel gives the fluffy brushed up trendy look. Af Cosmetics released a butterfly eyeshadow palette and it’s the perfect subtle eye Fall shades. Blush is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Blush in shade 60, which is a deep berry shade perfect on dark skin and great for Fall.

Lips are the Jouer cosmetics long wear creme lip liner in rose shimmer, topping it off with their high pigment pearl lip gloss in “Maldives” Lancome Mascara; love the curved wand.
