We have officially marked the beginning of Fall and with that, comes new trends to try out for the season. The 2023 Fall fashion trends are being debuted on runways, and I have been watching what brands are putting out. Here are some of my picks to try out this season.
It’s interesting how these pieces can fit into any and everyone’s wardrobe irrespective of your personal style. As someone who doesn’t jump on trends, I still love when trends already/can exist in my wardrobe.
trendy pieces to try this fall.
Classic Tailored Pieces– Definitely a must have for Fall. I always say you can never go wrong with a well tailored blazer no matter the color, fit or style. I get my best quality blazers from the thrift store and they have been serving me for a long time now. Suiting is another classic trend for Fall, which is also in the family of tailored pieces. They can take you from the board room to the streets, without looking shabby as nothing beats a classic tailored pants, shorts or blazer.
Is there Fall without a dash of color? The fashion gurus have spoken and they said fiery hue is a trend for the season. We are talking about tomato red, and bold bright red that is daunting to wear especially for my neutral girls. Red is definitely a big one for Fall Winter and I am glad it’s a color I already own and love to wear. Butter yellow also known as muted color, is a color trend for Fall. Ditch your neutrals for this pop of color.
Next, I am drawn to leather and leather sets. Temperature drop calls for a classic leather jacket, especially the trench leather coats. This time around, the Fall trend is a matching leather set. Whether in pants and blazer or skirt and blazer or even shorts and blazers. A whole leather look, is taking it up the notch for that sophisticated but edgy look. I picked up some more leather pieces for my Fall wardrobe and I am eager to style them.
Metallics- Yes I am more excited for this trend than any other. Before the runways said it, I had my eyes on some metallic pieces to add to my closet. From dresses to clutch bags and sling backs, they add that extra touch to your Fall wardrobe. They are the classic definition of a neutral piece that fits into every closet.
