When you consider wardrobe classics, a white shirt is definitely one of them. It’s a piece that fits into whatever wardrobe irrespective of your personal style. Although oversized shirts are my favorites, I picked this one because of the eyelet. Eyelets in whites are one of the best fabric combinations for Spring Summer.
No matter how basic a white shirt looks, they add that refreshing look to your wardrobe. Some come plain with large cuffs; which is a trend right now, or asymmetrical styles for more interest. Whatever style you choose, white shirts would always be easy to style, and when in doubt, throw on a pair of blue jeans with some pointy toe stilettos.
Another interesting way to style a white shirt is by using a corset or a vest for a more elevated twist. For everyday looks, you can opt for a monochromatic look like mine with elements of beige or tan to break up the white. Style with some platform wedges for a more Spring look. I think they are so versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything especially into the festive season as well.
As we venture into summer, I plan on styling more white looks with bright bold colors. That contrast will make for captivating looks as white will be the plain canvas to work with.
