Without a doubt my go to outfits are tonal looks because they are effortless, chic and easy to style. Although I love a good print, there is something refreshing about a monochrome look.
Lately, I have been sharing lots of tonal looks across my social media pages. Whenever I feel confused on what to wear and how to style it, I just go with a color and build the look with all the accessories I have in the same color family. Denim on denim is one recent look I put together, and I would say it’s a timeless look.
I consider monochrome outfits to be quick, easy, low effort but fashion forward and chic. Although not much thought goes into them, they still require a sense of style and cohesiveness to make them balance and proportionate. You can always choose muted colors for your monochrome looks. A good way to style a muted outfit is by wearing pastel shades as a monochrome look. They are not saturated like a bright bold color, but they still add that fresh color to your look. I gravitate towards the vivid colors more, but I still love a good subtle tone.
