The Flyaway Trench Coat You Need.

Trench coats are one of the most stylish and sophisticated piece you can have in your closet. It doesn’t matter what fabric it comes in, there is this undeniable luxe look it gives to an overall outfit. I was most glad when New York & Company resumed my Monthly Collaboration with them and I was immediately drawn to this Faux Leather Flyaway Trench Coat.

Make sure to check out my Instagram Page and Youtube Channel for all things Fashion and Beauty.

This Responsibly-Treated faux Leather Flyaway Trench Coat as the description say on their website, is an easy wrap style trench coat, made with water-based process rather than harsh chemicals. It comes with a self-tie belt and side pockets. The length hits just at the knee or slightly below the knee depending on your height. It comes in Black and Brown, which I preferred to go with as I currently don’t have any Jacket or Trench Coat in this color.

I decided to style the Trench Coat by itself to show you the actual style it comes in. It pretty much can be worn like a dress but be conscious of the overlapping slit which tends to shift occasionally. It had interesting details like the collar style, side belt holes, and the sleek smooth texture of the faux fur leather. It’s definitely a simple yet stylish Trench Coat that will go with almost everything your closet.

Chose my Aldo Miledith Boots and Cult Gaia Inspired bag as my accessories. For my jewelries, I went with my Petra Collar Necklace I got from Shop bop a while back, giving that simple yet elegant look to the neckline. Bauble Bar Huggie Hoops from Shop bop as well.

  1. Love this trench coat. What size did you order. Does it run big? I’m 5’5, 150, pear shaped usually wear an M but not sure if I should go with an S instead. Please advise. Thanks

    1. Thank you. It does run big, I’m 5’7, 143 and I got it in a Medium, it fits nicely.
I went with a Medium so I can wear a sweater underneath and don’t feel tight, but it was perfect with out without a cardigan underneath.
