I mentioned in my previous blog post that Denim trousers are having the best of me this season. I have been shopping for them recently than I ever have in the past, maybe the denim trend attributed to that. I typically own more wide leg pants and skirts, than jeans.
When shopping for jeans I am more interested in the cuts and silhouettes. Since my style is more geared towards wide leg pants, bell bottoms, boot cuts and flare denim trousers are perfect. Saw these jeans on a friend and I instantly fell in love with the exaggerated bottoms. It has one of the most flattering and stylish fits when it comes to finding a good pair of jeans.
It is definitely a conversation starter and commands attention in a simple way. I love that it comes in plain medium wash, with no rips, which makes it wearable to most places. I could easily wear this to the office on a Thursday or Friday with a white button down shirt. The baggy fit makes it perfect for Summer and into Fall.
how to style baggy denim trousers.
There is no set in stone way to style a baggy trousers. It is denim, and they are always easy to style because they are considered basic wardrobe pieces. A white top like mine, a body suit, an oversized blazer for that boxy oversize head-to-toe look, oversized T-shirt, racer tops, corset tops crop tops, sweaters for Fall/winter season etc. There are endless ways to style a baggy denim trouser.
Speaking of Fall Winter, these pants will be perfect with knee high boots. You will have sufficient room underneath to style your boots, especially if you want them covered. Just think about them as an additional layer to your Winter outfit.
