I am yet to meet someone who doesn’t own a pair of denim, whether that is in a form of a trouser, shirt, skirt dress or accessory. You can never go wrong with any Spring outfit that has a demin flair to it. Denim is classic, it’s vintage, and contemporary because it’s a fashion piece that is ever evolving
One of the quick and easiest ways to look put together for Spring, is by styling a denim look. This is because they are easy to style, and you can either dress them up or down depending on the occasion. If you are looking to add some classic denim cuts and silhouette to your Spring wardrobe, I highly recommend checking out your local thrift stores. They always stock up good pairs of Levis and Wranglers, which you know are better quality than what they push out these days. I have on a pair of Ann Taylor thrifted jeans in dark wash. It also serves as my “black” denim for days I need a good contrasting denim look.
What is a full denim look if you don’t make it monochromatic. I styled with another dark wash denim shirt to create a cohesive look; which can pass for a denim suited look. We know it’s a shirt but you get the drift.
In between season transitional clothing.
Denim pieces usually serve as great transitional clothing, that will take you from Winter into Spring and beyond. They also help you tackle in between season style especially for days when we don’t have static temperatures like warm one day and cool the next.
