I can’t believe I am typing this, but yes Valentines day is round the corner, and are you thinking of a makeup look for a day date with your girlfriends or date night with your significant other? I would share different looks you can choose from. For me, I already have some days marked off on my calendar for galentine date with a few girlies.
Valentines day is a time to explore with more fun eye looks especially when it comes to creating a graphic eyeliner look. It is one of the easiest looks to create through geometric lines and shapes. Think using a regular eyeliner, or eye pencil. It can be created by drawing one line just above your lash line as though you are applying an eyeliner. You can explore with different shades like a conventional pink for Valentine.
If you love a typical red lips look for Valentine, this is one to go for. Although I wear less to no foundation these days, I will walk you through how I achieved this makeup look without a foundation. I prepped my skin and then went it the Elf Halo Glow Liquid filter in shade 6 (Tan Deep) and 7 (Deep Rich. Shade 6 for the points I wanted to highlight and 7 for the parameters of my face. You need just a little to achieve a glowy base. The lips is by Dose of Colors– love how intense and long lasting it looks.

This is a spot on Valentine makeup look. Talk about a pink graphic eyeliner look and a bold pink lips. Although you can see the pink shades peeking from the eyelids, they are also not too overpowering. The eye look tones down the pink lips, for a more wearable look. It’s between editorial and everyday glam look.
You can also decided to go for a more natural everyday look. Something simple but beautiful, not incorporating the traditional colors for Valentine.
